- 1892: Albert H. Weinbrenner, at the age of 27, opens a cobblery in Milwaukee with partner, Joseph Peffer serving “Jobbing” trades.

- 2022: Weinbrenner celebrates 130 years as a company. with the opening of a new factory in Merrill, WI, and the launch of the first western wear product, Thorogood's Square Toe Wellingtons.
